The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced that online registration for the 2025/2026 service year will officially reopen from Wednesday, October 8 to Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
This new registration window follows a directive from President John Dramani Mahama, who ordered a Technical and Forensic Audit into the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP). The audit found the system to be flawed and incapable of ensuring data integrity.
All June Registrations Cancelled
As a result, the NSA has invalidated all registrations completed in June 2025 due to inconsistencies, including age discrepancies. All affected applicants are required to re-register using a newly developed digital platform designed to enhance transparency, security, and real-time verification.
“All previous registrations from June 2025 have been declared null and void. Every prospective service personnel must re-register on the new platform,” the Authority confirmed in a statement.
The NSA has assured that legitimate registrants from the cancelled June process will be refunded their service fees.
New Website and Registration Guidelines
Step-by-step instructions for the new online registration will be available on the NSA’s new website: www.gnsa.gov.gh starting Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Reforms and Anti-Fraud Measures
As part of broader reforms, the NSA is rolling out stringent IT and internal control measures to combat payroll fraud and ensure timely payment of allowances. The Authority is working closely with the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department to strengthen oversight and will conduct periodic performance and efficiency reviews.
Reporting Date and Start of Service
All newly registered national service personnel are expected to report to their assigned stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025. The official start of service is Monday, November 3, 2025.
