Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former General Secretary, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, is set to begin the second phase of his Ashanti Regional tour this week as part of his nationwide engagement with party delegates under the theme “Leadership with Integrity: Going Back to Our Roots.”
This leg of the tour will take Ing. Agyepong through key constituencies including Asante Akim South, Asante Akim North, Asante Akim Central, and Bosome Freho.
He will also make stops in Odotobri, Manso Adubia, Manso Nkwanta, Bekwai, and Bosomtwe, where he is expected to meet with constituency executives, polling station officers, and grassroots members of the NPP.
Other constituencies on his itinerary include New Edubiase, Adansi Asokwa, Fomena, Akrofuom, Obuasi East, and Obuasi West, as he continues to build momentum ahead of the party’s flagbearership race.
The former Press Secretary to former President Kufuor’s message of renewal, unity, and principled leadership has resonated strongly with delegates across the country. His call to “go back to our roots” emphasizes a return to the founding values of the NPP—honesty, hard work, discipline, and service to the people.
The tour seeks to deepen his engagement with the party’s base, listen to concerns of delegates, and share his vision of rebuilding the NPP into a more inclusive and cohesive political force capable of reclaiming power in 2028.
